About Five Ring Youth Circus
Five Ring is our flagship youth circus programme. Through Five Ring we use circus, performance, and physical skills to enhance young people’s lives. Five Ring is an inclusive hub for young enthusiasts who want to focus on their training and have the opportunity to perform locally, nationally and internationally. During term time, Five Ring meet twice a week to train and develop their circus skills.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, skilled circus teacher to join our team as a Five Ring Lead Mentor. You will work closely with the Five Ring Director to run the Five Ring Youth Circus. You will be a main point of delivery for teaching on the programme, you will also work with a variety of regular and specialist mentors. We're looking for someone that works well independently as well as part of a team, and has a passion for youth circus. Please see the role descriptor for more information.
About the role:
This is a 1 year freelance contract. Salary: £20/hour: On average 5 hours teaching time per week with additional planning time during term time. Additional Five Ring teaching hours also available during holiday intensives and short courses. Other teaching opportunities on our wider programme of clubs, classes and community outreach also available.
